This recombinant Acetyl-Histone H2A.X antibody specifically reacts to Histone H2AX acetylated at Lysine 5 (K5ac). No or limited cross reactivity with acetylated Lysine 9 (K9ac), Lysine 36 (K36ac) in Histone H2AX, Lysine 4 (K4ac), Lysine 7 (K7ac), Lysine 11 (K11ac), Lysine 13 (K13ac) in Histone H2AZ, or non-modified Asparagine 19 (N19), Lysine 36 (K36) in Histone H2AX.
Western blot testing of (1) H2A recombinant protein and (2) acid extracts of human HeLa cell lysate using recombinant Acetyl-Histone H2A.X antibody at 0.04 ug/ml.
